About APA102:
This IC adopts CMOS process and provides three-color RGB LED output drivers to adjust and 256 levels of gray output, and 32 levels of brightness adjustment. APA has two signal output methods, one is the clock, the other is data, clock and data are Body cascade output.
Features:
> CMOS process, low voltage, low power consumption;
> Two-wire synchronous selection of positive output or negative RGB three-color LED output 8-bit (256 levels) color set, 5-bit (32-level) brightness adjustment;
> Built-in 20 mA constant current output with a self-detection signal built in continuous oscillation supports PWM output, which can maintain static picture.
About the APA102-2020-RGB-6 LEDs:
- Three color Red, Green and blue inside APA102 – SMD2020- sized ( 2mm x 2mm ) Led (Smaller than APA102 SMD5050 RGB). It’s very slim but bright, colorful and useful.
- APA102 2020SMD has double signal: DATA And CLOCK. Synchronous Working.
- 8 Bit (256 level) color per set; 5 Bit (32level) brightness adjustment.
- Red : 619–626 nm; Green : 520–535 nm; Blue : 465–475 nm.
